Avid reader/reviewer and editor. I don't pull punches when I review, love it or hate it, you get what I think.
This third book in the Spelldrift series is just as engaging as its predecessors. It's full of action and suspense, twists and turns, and lots of snark. Asher's quips are some of my favorite lines - you never know what our crazy warlock will say next!
This is an ongoing story and this one picks up where book two left off. I thought I had a clue where this one would go, but I was so wrong. With Matt facing execution, the coven may have to enlist the help of the last person Alix wants help from - her dark and twisted Aunt.
Cross has shown just how talented she is with her fantastic world building, interesting characters, and hold your breath, twisty story line. It's a story of magic, friendship, love, and family. And after that ending, I'll be anxiously awaiting the next book in this terrific series.
