Avid reader/reviewer and editor. I don't pull punches when I review, love it or hate it, you get what I think.
Truth By His Hand is a bit different than what I've come to expect from Cameron and not being part of the BDSM lifestyle, I wasn't sure about how I would connect with this one. The book is quite long and at the beginning, I wasn't sure where it could possibly go that it would need 120K to get there. It didn't take long for understanding to dawn as River's almost OCD tendencies and need for control are revealed. Make no mistake, BDSM is prevalent throughout this book and whether it's accurate or not, I couldn't tell you, but it is certainly erotic and emotional. What I found most interesting was the underlying story of River's self discovery as the relationship to the often closed off Ellison progresses. Both men learn what it is to let go, whether it be in the bedroom or on an emotional level, making for a poignant and captivating story.
